🤖 VEX V5 Robotics Masters (Metal): Advanced Robotics Engineering (Grades 6–10)
Step into the world of advanced robotics engineering using the powerful VEX V5 platform! In this hands-on robotics program, students design, build, and program metal-frame robots while learning the engineering principles behind competitive robotics systems.
Students will explore mechanical design, robot construction, and programming as they assemble real competition-style robots using motors, sensors, gears, and structural components. Through guided challenges and engineering tasks, participants will learn how to control robot movement, design efficient mechanisms, and develop autonomous routines.
Along the way, students will gain experience with robot strategy, competition scoring systems, and collaborative problem-solving as they work in teams to tackle real-world robotics challenges. Participants will also explore the fundamentals of coding and automation used in VEX robotics competitions.
Perfect for students interested in robotics, engineering, or competitive STEM programs, this lab builds a strong foundation for participation in official VEX Robotics competitions and advanced robotics teams.
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Equipment: All VEX V5 robotics kits and materials will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop or Chromebook for programming activities.
Note: This program introduces students to advanced robotics design and programming concepts. Students interested in competitive robotics may continue into Falkon Academy VEX Competition Teams and Robotics Leagues.
