🧠 Neuroscience Explorer: Brain Signals and Human Bio-Engineering (Grades 6–11)

Step into the fascinating world of neuroscience and discover how the brain communicates with the body! In this hands-on STEM program, students explore the science behind brain signals, muscle activity, and neural communication through interactive experiments and demonstrations.

Students will investigate how neurons send electrical signals, how the brain controls movement, and how muscles respond to commands from the nervous system. Using neuroscience tools such as muscle sensors and bio-signal recording devices, participants will observe and record how electrical activity travels through the body.

Through guided experiments, students will explore concepts such as neural pathways, reflex responses, reaction time, and bioelectric signals while learning how modern biomedical technology helps scientists understand how the brain controls motion and behavior.

Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Equipment: All neuroscience sensors and experiment tools will be provided and used during class sessions. Students will not take the equipment home. Bringing a laptop or Chromebook is recommended for recording observations and exploring optional data analysis activities.
Note: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of neuroscience and human physiology. Students interested in advanced STEM pathways may later explore fields such as biomedical engineering, robotics, AI, or medical technology.
