Week1 Update 2022

1) Successful 1st week:

We had a very successful program last week. At the beginning of the week, we were not sure if DOJ clearance from schools would arrive soon enough. But they arrived at the last minute. Our program is very interactive, and a lot of kids showed great enthusiasm and participated in discussions, answering questions and building some models.

 

I was impressed seeing some of the kids come up with such complex ideas. Lot of kids have said 3hrs passed very quickly, and they wished it was longer.

 

2) Start of Saturday Programs: Sep 17th

We are planning to start Saturday programs starting next Saturday. So kids can start building their bots. The first Saturday program is planned on Sep 17th.

                 Folsom Middle School  – Sept 17. 9am to 12noon

                 Marina Village Middle School – Sept 17th 1pm to 4pm  (Tentative)

 

3) Attendance requirements on Saturdays

The class is scheduled for 3hrs. We recommend you attend with your team for at least 2hrs.. So plan with your team and try to find the best time your whole team can attend.

 

         Pleasant Grove Middle School should attend Marina Village Middle School.

 

4) Team Formations:

We have started forming teams. Teams will be announced at the end of Thursday next week.

 

5) Return of over payments: 

Some of you have paid more than $500. We will return the overpayment starting next week.
